A rental panel that you won't want out of your sight
Way back in 2020, Desay introduced two very fantastic new Series: the TVB installation panel and the TRB rental panel.
These siblings shared many characteristics including XY dimensions of 600 x 337.5 millimeters, which just so happens to create a perfect 16:9 aspect ratio using any equal grid of panels, such as 4x4 or 8x8. And if you really just needed a 4:3 ratio, either 3 panels wide and 4 tall, or 6 x 8 would do.
The Series TRB then went on to win a Red Dot Design Award which described the new panel as follows:
This device from the TRB series is a high-resolution LED display with thin gaps incorporating the terminal box, panel casing and LED module. With the aid of specially designed handles, the display solves the issue of LEDs being bumped during assembly and disassembly. The modular construction allows components to be quickly dismantled and replaced. The layout of the terminal box at a 45-degree angle is innovative and characterises the distinctive appearance of the display, which is also energy saving and boasts low emissions.
The Desay Series TRB faces some strong competition from, well, our more traditional rental displays that fill out perfect squares measuring 500 x 500 and double up to measure 500 x 1000. The very popular Desay Series X and lightweight carbon fibre Desay Series H and HL, and more recently the Desay Series HB all fit these categories.
The new TRB sets itself apart from our legacy systems with a new simplified design that improves functionality and reduces costs. Easy on the shoulders and now much easier on the wallet.
Our Desay Floor Support is now integrated into the panel for easy setup. And just like our Series TVB, we offer both Module Glue On Board and Lamp Glue On Board for enhanced display surface protection.
Desay Series TRB
Everyone loves the latest and greatest when it comes to technology. But we also value evolution over revolution.
For 2022 we have taken the award-winning Series TRB to an even better place with a super easy-to-handle design that makes so much sense, well it kinda makes you wonder why it took so long to get here.
The TRB and its installation sibling, the TVB, share the same footprint that measures 600 x 337.5 millimeters to create perfect 4:3 and 16:9 displays.
But rentals and stage panels have different demands than installations, and the TRB weighs in at closer to 9 kilograms with a more robust profile and a tool-free, quick-release power module that adds minor bulk but saves huge time when the show can't wait.
We can equip the Desay Series TRB with upgraded NovaStar A10s Pro receiver cards which provides for equipping the TRB with the new NovaStar VMP or Vision Management Platform control software and a NovaStar MX40 LED display controller.
Or for less demanding displays, we can offer very affordable NovaStar VX controllers.
PixelsPixel-to-pixel spacing begins at an impressive 0.781 millimeters to create fine-pixel display resolutions of over 1,600,000 LED lamps/m². Each millimeter of spacing supports one meter of viewing distance which means that the Series TRB will look great from less than 1 step away.
DimensionsThe Series TRB is an advanced aluminum panel that weighs under 9 kilograms with XYZ dimensions of 600 × 337.5 × 75 millimeters. Boomers can convert those numbers to the 1825 Exchequer Standards for dimensions of 24 × 13 × 1.5 inches and a featherweight 20 pounds.
ViewingDisplay panel brightness ranges from 500 cd/m² to 1000 cd/m². Screen refresh rates are set at up to 3840 Hz for camera-ready video. An outstanding 160° off-axis viewing means that pretty much everyone in the audience can see the Series TRB whether coming or going.
PerformanceRedn * Greenn * Bluen creates more color combinations than our eyes can see, plus an abundance of silky smooth shades of grey. Display life is projected to be 100,000 hours or about 11 years of full-time use.

Rated power consumption is a low 192 W/m² to 290 W/m² and up to 830 W/m² on full load depending on the specifications of the model. Variable voltage power units accept 100V ~ 240V. Our technicians will provide an electrical schematic specific to your project on request.
