Only a handful of years have passed since the industry's only offerings for outdoor displays were massive cabinets that weighed a ton and were populated with individual pixels that could be counted from across the room. Images may have been bright, but were otherwise best described as coarse.
The new Desay Series WT packs 112,896 pixels into just 4 panels measuring a total of a square meter. While few applications call for a 4K installation, it is comforting to know that if you have the appetite and room for a 73 square meter display, we have your solution.
But more likely, the Series WT will be going on a creative journey. Many will be small-format billboards or signage that stretches in a slender row from one end of a storefront to the other. Or maybe just a collection of individual panels measuring a foot square and lighting up a building in a fantastic checkerboard.
Desay Series WT
The new for 2022 Desay Series WT is an advanced aluminum panel that weighs under 10 kilograms with XY dimensions that start at 250 × 250 and range up to 1333 × 250 millimeters and just 58 millimeters deep.
These panels can be configured in portrait or landscape mode to allow for creative applications such as building a border around a window frame for example.
We can equip the Desay Series WT with upgraded NovaStar A10s Pro receiver cards which provides for equipping the WT with the new NovaStar VMP or Vision Management Platform control software and a NovaStar MX40 LED display controller.
Or for less demanding displays, we can offer the very affordable NovaStar Taurus media player.
PixelsPixel-to-pixel spacing begins at an impressive 2.976 millimeters to create fine-pixel display resolutions of over 112,896 LED lamps/m².
Each millimeter of spacing supports one meter of viewing distance which means that the Series WT will look great from less than 3 steps away.
DimensionsThe Series WT is an advanced aluminum panel that weighs under 10 kilograms with XYZ dimensions of 1000 × 250 × 58 millimeters. Boomers can convert those numbers to the 1825 Exchequer Standards for dimensions of 39 × 10 × 2.3 inches and a featherweight 21 pounds.
ViewingDisplay panel brightness is sunshine-ready at a sizzling 5000 cd/m². Screen refresh rates are set at up to 3840 Hz for camera-ready video. An outstanding 160° off-axis viewing means that pretty much everyone in the audience can see the Series WT whether coming or going.
PerformanceRed14 × Green14 × Blue14 generate 4398 billion colors and a silky smooth 16384 greys. Display life expectancy is projected to be 100,000 hours, which works out to about 11 years of full-time use. Which means we look forward to hearing from you again in 2033.
PowerRated power consumption is a low 217 W/m² to 227 W/m² and up to 930 W/m² on full load depending on the specifications of the model. Variable voltage power units accept 100V ~ 240V. Our technicians will provide an electrical schematic specific to your project on request.
InstallationThe Series WT is good to go as a single panel or a massive billboard. The WT will follow a gentle curve or form a 90° corner and wrap a column. These innovative panels can be set out in a horizontal or vertical configuration, or mixed and matched as your project demands.
